My 250-Day Journey to a Full 180-Degree Split

It has been 250 days since I started stretching with the goal of achieving a full 180-degree middle split.
Looking back, I can clearly see how much more flexible my body has become compared to the beginning.
My progress has been real and encouraging.

The Good

  • Improved Flexibility
    • My hips and hamstrings move so much more freely now.
  • Consistency
    • The fact that I’ve kept up this routine almost every day for 250 days is a big win.
    • Building this habit is something I’m proud of.

Feeling Stuck

That said, the journey to a perfect 180-degree split is not an easy one.
For nearly two months, I’ve been stuck just a few centimeters away from the floor.

At first, I was excited, thinking, “I’m almost there!”
But when progress slowed down, it became harder to stay motivated.
It’s not really “bad,” but it does feel tough mentally to keep going during this phase.

Looking Ahead

Even so, the 250 days I’ve invested won’t be wasted.
I believe that feeling stuck is also part of growth, and I’m determined to keep moving forward.

Someday, I’ll achieve that perfect split.
Until then, I’ll keep stretching—one day at a time.
