It’s been 10 days since I started stretching with the aim of achieving a perfect middle split.
Today, I’d like to share my impressions here.
I’m also posting videos on YouTube.
You can see the specific stretches I’m doing.
So, please check them out if you’re interested!
Results After 10 Days of 15-Minute Stretching
I knew it wouldn’t be easy to see immediate results.
I knew that much…
But, to be honest, the reality still feels harsh.
I haven’t yet noticed any significant improvement in how far I can stretch my legs.
But, there have been some unexpected benefits!
1. Improved Digestion
First, I feel like my digestion has improved.
This is a big deal for me since I’ve struggled with chronic constipation.
I remember that when I used to jog regularly, my digestion also improved.
Whether it’s stretching or jogging, it seems that moving my body has a positive effect on my overall digestion.
2. Leading to Other Exercises
Since I’ve been changing into workout clothes for my stretching routine, I’ve found myself jogging as well.
It’s been a long time since I last ran, but jogging again after such a break felt amazing!
And amazing muscle pain…
I hope to continue combining jogging and stretching when I can.
Recording My Stretching on YouTube
I’ve also been recording my daily stretching sessions and uploading them to YouTube.
I could have just taken photos.
For some reason, I decided to make videos.
It’s turned out to be surprisingly effective.
1. I can observe my movements objectively.
By watching myself, I noticed something shocking.
I’m far worse at forward bends than I thought.
I’ve always felt that my back and hips were stiff.
But seeing it on video made me realize how little I could actually bend.
This realization has motivated me to incorporate stretches that specifically improve my forward bend flexibility.
2.Encouraging comments keep me motivated.
Additionally, the kind comments and words of encouragement from viewers have been a huge boost to my motivation.
Since I’m uploading videos daily, I feel an extra push to keep going.
I’m truly grateful to everyone who takes the time to watch or comment on my progress.
Thank you so much!
Stretching More Than Just the Splits
When I started, I thought, “If I want to achieve a split, I just need to practice splits every day.”
After all, that’s the goal, right?
But through watching various instructional videos, I noticed that no one focuses solely on splits. They always include hip stretches in seemingly unrelated directions.
While I haven’t researched the scientific or anatomical reasons, it seems that overall hip flexibility is essential.
And honestly, stretching in various directions just feels GOOD!
So, I’ve decided to trust these positive sensations.
I do stretches that may not appear directly related to achieving the splits.
Results Don’t Come Easy, but I’ll Keep Going
After 10 days, I’ve realized that results won’t come quickly.
But I’m determined to enjoy the process and keep going.
I’ll continue to update my progress on YouTube and this blog.
Your support means the world to me, so I would be so happy if you support me!
And if you’re interested, why not join me in this journey?
Thank you for reading, and let’s keep stretching together!
